Joe was appointed to serve as a Town Board member on January 18, 2012. He is a resident of Whitestown for over 25 years and is involved in several community organizations. Upon graduating from Whitesboro High School in 1999, Joe pursued a B.S. at Utica College until transferring to LeMoyne College to specialize in the area of Industrial Relations & Human Resource Management where he earned this degree in May 2003. Post college, Joe worked at SUNY Upstate Medical University as a Labor Relations Representative. In the summer of 2005, Joe moved to Florida in pursuit of becoming an attorney and attended St. Thomas University School of Law where he earned a J.D. in the spring of 2008. Subsequently, Joe passed both Massachusetts and New York bar exams to become duly licensed to practice law in the respective states. Currently, Joe practices law privately and as an Assistant Public Defender in Oneida County Family Court.
He is the liaison for the following departments: Highway, Landfill, Central Garage, Engineering, Centro, and the News letter. Joe will be holding office hours for Town residents at the Town Offices located at 8539 Clark Mills Road on the first Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. or by appointment.
