Michael was appointed to serve as a Town Board Member on January 16, 2008. Following his appointment, he was elected to the position of Town Councilman on November 4, 2009. He is a lifelong resident of Whitestown were he currently resides with his wife Louanna, daughters Jenae and Julia.
After graduating from Whitesboro Central School in 1984, he went on to receive his Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Accounting (CPA) from Utica College Class of 1988. Immediately following College, he worked as an Accountant for a local Accounting Firm before being hired by the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local One (UFCW) as a Benefit Funds Auditor. He held various positions within the UFCW organization and is currently a Manager in the Benefit Funds. His expertise in employee benefits and accounting has made him a valuable resource on the Town Board.
Michael is also the Deputy Supervisor and serves as a board liaison to Building & Grounds, Recreation, Personnel & Finance, Insurance, Veterans, Seniors, and Dog Control. He is also a member of the Police Commission.
He is active in many community events and groups.
