Whitestown Police Commission proudly announces the receipt of a grant to fund the purchase of a new marked police vehicle. The 2009 Byrne JAC Recovery initiative will allow the Town to purchase and equip a new patrol car for 2010. This is a federally funded program to assist local law enforcement agencies to maintain a safe fleet of vehicles. The Town is very grateful for this funding. Police Chief Donald Wolanin and town employee Tanya Farley worked diligently on the application which allowed the town to secure these funds. Many thanks to all involved.
