EMPLOYEE BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION
The Personnel Office serves all of the 100 plus town employees. From date of hire to date of retirement all records pertaining a person's employment are kept in this office. The personnel office assists employees with questions regarding their benefits. Dealing in health insurance, worker's compensation, disability insurance, unemployment insurance, civil service requirements, retirement benefits, AFLAC supplemental insurance, deferred compensation, dental insurance and employee handbook interpretation; we are here to assist all employees. Any claims of discrimination or sexual harrassment are investigated and handled through our Nondiscrimination Compliance Coordinator, Lisa M. Langdon.
Applications for employment with the Town of Whitestown are always accepted at the Personnel Office. Openings are advertised or posted, when possible. All town positions are governed by civil service law and applicants must meet minimum qualifications as set by New York State.
